Miami Personal Management Community Mental Health Center is an Evidence-based Practice (EBP) which means our providers are using research-proven assessments and interventions in our day-to-day service delivery. Each clinician undertakes to stay in touch with the research literature and to use it as a part of their clinical decision making.
COUNSELING:
Our team provides individual and group therapy services for depression, anxiety, mood disorders, comorbid Psychiatric Disorders and Personality Disorders, intended to restore the individual’s skills and abilities essential for independent living.

SUBSTANCE ABUSE:
Outpatient Substance Abuse Counseling provides treatment for adults and adolescents, their families, and/or their significant others who are affected by the use of alcohol or other drugs. Clients are assisted in gaining and maintaining skills for a substance-free lifestyle.
BEHAVIOR ANALYSIS:
Is the study of principles of learning and behavior and are interventions provided to decrease maladaptive behaviors and reinforce appropriate behaviors. Parents and caregivers are indispensable play a necessary and critical role in their child’s program and together with the lead analyst work with the sole purpose to improve behavior. Services may include conducting:
- Functional Behavioral Assessments
- Analyzing data
- Individualized behavior-analytic treatment plans
- Training parents and others to implement components of treatment plans
- Monitoring progress and overseeing the implementation of treatment plans
- Supervision of therapy from Board Certified or Licensed Professionals
